If you want to avoid an unbearably long line at the ticket office, buying your tickets for the Burj Khalifa in advance is best. This will also guarantee you a spot during the time slot you want, as tickets are assigned at fixed times.

How much do tickets to the Burj Khalifa tour cost?

The price can vary depending on which floors you want to visit and when you want to go up. For example, an adult ticket for At The Top (floors 124 and 125) costs around 150 AED, whereas to go up to the 148th floor would require an entrance fee of around 450 AED.

Watch the sunset at the Burj Khalifa.

Depending on what type of ticket you want to buy, we recommend checking what time the sunset will be when you visit Dubai and buying your tickets an hour beforehand. If you buy VIP tickets, you won’t have to worry about crowds as they are virtually non-existent at At the Top Sky. The most popular times are between 4 pm and 6 pm, when most visitors visit the Burj Khalifa to prepare for sunset. Tickets tend to vary in price depending on the time of day, being more expensive for peak hours, but an advantage of this ticket is that price is fixed as it includes access to the 148th floor.

Musical Fountain Show

The Burj Khalifa Lake fountain show is an impressive spectacle from the ground but takes it to the next level when viewed from At Top. Tickets for Burj Khalifa and the fountains can be booked together, and we recommend doing so as you can save a few euros.

This fountain is the tallest in the world, but that’s not all! It’s the size of two football fields. Seeing the fountain in motion is undoubtedly one of the city’s greatest attractions. To contemplate the magnificent spectacle, there is a floating walkway at its feet, but nothing beats the view from At the Top.

At the Top (124th and 125th floors)

If you have only bought tickets for the 124th floor, you can go straight to the lift and validate your ticket. In less than a minute, you’ll ascend to the top of the Burj Khalifa and find a gift shop to avoid some tourist traps, and then move on to the observatory.

The telescopes dotted around the observation deck will give you a close-up view of Dubai. However, if you want to experience vertigo, lean out of the observatory windows and look up to see the top of Burj Khalifa.

At the Top is a great place to spend an hour or so. You’ll find the interactive ‘A Falcon’s Eye View’ experience on the 125th floor, where you can watch real-time footage of life in Dubai in the style of the screens at New York’s One World Observatory.

At the Top Sky (148th floor)

With entry to the 148th floor, you will have access to the Sky Lounge, where you can enjoy juices, coffee, Arabic sweets and dates. This is an experience to take it easy and relax before going up to the observation deck.

After cocktails, you will be escorted to the VIP lift, ascending to platform 148 in just over a minute. You’ll have 30 minutes to enjoy the uncrowded views before descending to the lower platforms.

When you travel to the top of the Burj Khalifa, you’ll see all of Dubai and some of Abu Dhabi from a 360-degree perspective. You’ll be able to see some of Dubai’s most iconic buildings, including:

And, as is the case with almost every observatory in the world, the views at sunrise and sunset are utterly mesmerizing. But what makes the views from the Burj Khalifa so special is that, thanks to the height of the skyscraper, you can see the sun’s reflection on the clouds up close and witness a true spectacle of color.
